Tomorrow we celebrate one of my favorite days...we honor those who bore us, loved us, trained us, taught us how to love, how to keep our nose clean along with our underwear, especially when we went out (guess dirty underwear at home was okay), how to make things, how to milk a cow, how to hoe a garden, how to build a fire, how to feed chickens and pick up their eggs....they took us to get our immunizations, to the Doctor and the Dentist, they taught us how to hang the laundry on a line, they taught us how to slay a chicken for Sunday dinner, they fixed our falls, soothed our feelings and dried our tears...they baked us a birthday cake every year of our lives while we were home and they even brought that last birthday cake at 19 just a few days before leaving for the Vietnam War. Yes, this is a special day and we will honor you on the Lords day in His house...Thank God for Mothers!

Remember First Fruits tomorrow. Come ready to worship and celebrate our risen Savior. Invite a friend. See you there.

Join us tomorrow for PALM SUNDAY... “The Significance of This Great Day”

An excerpt from today’s sermon... When the Prophet Isaiah saw the Lord upon His throne in Isaiah 6, this is what he said: “Then I said, “It’s all over! I am doomed, for I am a sinful man. I have filthy lips, and I live among a people with filthy lips. Yet I have seen the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.” Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.”” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6:5-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “When we encounter His presence we will see our condition, we will see where we are spiritually...We will see where our relationship is? Our sin will become very real and our inadequacy will be very apparent...Whatever we think about ourself will fall to the ground like dead leaves.. We will be awestruck and in deep reverential fear.. But, all the while God is looking for someone He can use, someone he can depend upon, someone He can send, someone who will say, “Here I am, send me.” Some will listen, some will obey. There is a people, there is a community, there is a family member, there is a friend that needs someone like you! Some will hear, some will not, Some will listen and understand, some won’t, Some will receive and some will reject, Some will obey and go, some will stay.. some will see and believe... Many will be destroyed for lack of concern and disobedience...” When we have a real encounter with Him, we will forever be transformed and we will respond just as Isaiah did, “Here I am, send me!”

Thank God for the elected leaders in the State of Georgia that have a heart for the unborn...may God bless our great state! May the Governor stand tall and firm in his convictions for life and sign this bill into law. Hollywood take your money and your threats elsewhere. Georgians are lovers of life even in the womb. If there’s a heartbeat, there is life!

I could have no greater joy than to hear that my children are following the truth.” ‭‭3 John‬ ‭1:1-4‬ ‭NLT What a great encouragement to a friend and from a friend and mentor in the faith... There is nothing I desire more as a minister of the Gospel than to see people have a great relationship with Christ, to prosper and have good health. Jesus is not only our Savior, but our provider and our healer. Thank God for His love to us! Have a great day!

The Bible-It is God’s word to humanity...it’s up to you and me to correctly interpret what God has said and is saying to us through the power of the Holy Spirit..let us therefore study wisely and discern correctly.

Valentines Day has passed...but, I have got a word on "Love, The Greatest Gift" for tomorrow. Listen as you read just a little bit of the prelude... “If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:1-3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ A couple of thoughts... Are you a lover or a noise maker? Do you possess and speak many languages or do you love? Are a giver and a lover? Would you sacrifice your own body or would you love? Join us for a powerful word tomorrow...This is gonna help somebody!

Join us tomorrow as we encounter the presence of The Holy Spirit. If we can get into His presence we will forever be changed. Come expecting, believing and worshipping Him...

“The Character of Humility” Tomorrow’s message...we live in a world that is suffering from a lack of Humility...it seems more and more are focused on self and their desires rather than the desires of their families, their community and their nation. We need an intervention from on high...we need to humble ourselves and seek Him in The midst of all that is happening around us... Humility teaches us to love another and do the great commandment..Love our neighbor as ourself and love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
